Leatherman Crunch Multi Tool May 8, 2010
Backpacking without the right tools is like taking a bath without soap! Eeeww! In backpacking, without equipment and tools, you are asking for troubles.
Leatherman 68010103H Crunch with Leather Sheath
One of the most important backpacking tool that any adventurer should have is an army knife… NOT! Army knife?! Come on, that’s so ’80s and so McGyver-ish. It’s 2010 and we have more sturdy and super heavy duty materials available to us know.
What every backpacker should have in every hiking that they do is the Leatherman Crunch Multi Tool!
The Leatherman Crunch Multi Tool is compact, light, has tons of tools and it also got this high-tech design that you want to show off to all your friends.

All blades of the Crunch tool are locking. That means safety my friend. You don’t want to accidentally cut off your fingers while slicing onions, do you? (Or killing bear, if you’re more macho).
The Leatherman Crunch tool’s clamps is up to 1″ diameter (like channel locks). This is the only folding tool on the market that offers locking pliers.
Each blade opens individually, locks in place and is unlocked by a push-button mechanism. Features a 1/4″ hex bit adapter built into the end of one handle, a serrated knife, screwdriver, file, and lanyard attachment. Weighs 6oz.
